A mostly dry start to today with a mix of cloud and sunny spells across the country - brightest across Munster. Whilst there will be a lot of dry weather for the day, cloudy overall with some patchy outbreaks of light rain developing. Relatively cool, with highest temperatures ranging 14 to 17 degrees Celsius, in light to moderate westerly breezes (best values for the south of Leinster).

Overall tonight will bring a lot of dry weather. However there will be some scattered outbreaks of light rain too - with patchy rain in the east at first, and more general rain beginning to move into Atlantic counties later. Lowest temperatures eight to 10 degrees Celsius with light to moderate southwest breezes.
