Three men have been arrested by police investigating the murder of former IRA member Kevin McGuigan.

The suspects - who're aged 41, 44 and 53 - were detained this morning in the Greater Belfast area.

Two masked gunmen shot him outside his home at Comber Court in the Short Strand area. He was treated at the Royal Victoria Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

His funeral will take place today.
