Power has been restored to several thousand properties around the country this evening.
Storm Clodagh had knocked out supply over 4,000 customers in Kildare while earlier this morning over 6,500 premises were in the dark.
Less than 100 people are now without electricity and ESB says crews are continuing to work on restoring supply.
Full details of the faults and expected resolution times can be found on ESB's website.
An orange warning for wind and a yellow alert for rainfall was in place until 3pm today as a result of Clodagh - the third named storm to hit Ireland this year.
Corporate Communications Manager with the ESB Bernadine Maloney says they are working to get those affected by the power outages back on the grid as soon as possible.
