The jury will return to court this morning in the trial of former Anglo Irish Bank Chairman Sean Fitzpatrick.

The jury of six men and six women was sworn in on April 14 last but no evidence has been heard, as the case has been in legal argument.

Polls for the UK General Election open in a half hour's time.

Candidates are standing to be MPs in 650 constituencies across the UK.

Some areas are also holding mayoral and council elections.

A cabinet minister has said a Commission of Investigation could be set up to investigate the sale of SiteServ.

But Brendan Howlin says a further inquiry would only be ordered if an internal inquiry uncovers some evidence of wrongdoing.
