Ireland has made global history, after backing same-sex marriage in a popular vote.
Just over 62% supported changing the Constitution, with more than 1.2 million people turning out in support of marriage equality.
After all constituencies had declared, only Roscommon-South Leitrim voted against the proposal.
100,000 households to receive incorrect water bills
Approximately 100,000 households are expected to receive incorrect Irish Water bills.
According to the Irish Independent many customers will receive flat rate bills because the controversial state utility has been unable to match meters to dwellings. This means they will not benefit from savings if they have consumed less water than the capped fee.

Toddler dies following farm accident in Co Cork
The HSA has been called in to investigate following the death of a toddler on a farm in West Cork.
It's believed the two year old from Schull was hit in the head by a steel gate around lunchtime today.
The child was airlifted to Cork University Hospital, but he was declared dead after efforts to save his life failed.
Presidential Age Referendum defeated with No vote of 73%

The referendum on lowering the age of presidential candidates has been overwhelmingly defeated.
Final results show 73.06% of votes said No to the proposed amendment, with only 26.94% choosing Yes on their ballot papers.
