The Mayor of Copenhagen, Frank Jensen has banned the city's 45,000 officials from flying with Ryanair - even when it is the cheapest option.
This is a protest against the wages paid by the airline and the lack of a Danish collective-bargaining agreement.
In March the Irish airline's first flight from Copenhagen was grounded for three hours amid a dispute with unions over wages and working conditions.
Speaking to a Danish newspaper, he said that in Copenhagen "we have fought hard against the scourge of social dumping."

Gardaí release photo of abandoned baby 'Maria' in renewed appeal

Gardaí have released a photo of baby 'Maria', who was found abandoned in Dublin on May 8th.
They say have received a number of calls from the public and that all these calls have been followed through.
However, her mother has not yet contacted the gardaí or Tusla, the child and family agency.
Sergeant Maeve O'Sullivan today said: "We are releasing this photograph so mum can see her little baby girl, and we would ask mum to contact us so she can come see her."
