The Education Minister Jan O'Sullivan says teaching about relationships in schools will not be affected by the Same Sex Marriage referendum if it passes.
Last week a group of teachers advocating a No vote this Friday, said that if the referendum is passed they would be obliged to teach a new model of marriage to children.
Ms O'Sullivan says the ethos of religious schools is protected under the law.
Gardaí investigating if Limerick body found is that of alleged fraudster
The badly decomposed bodies of a man and woman, found in a farmhouse in Co Limerick, have been removed from the scene for post mortems.
The bodies were discovered in an upstairs bedroom after Gardai recived a tip off in the early hours of this morning.
The remains are understood to be 63-year-old convicted fraudster Julia Holmes and her partner 56-year old local farmer Thomas Ruttle.
Holmes is currently wanted by the FBI, the PSNI and Gardai for a series of alleged frauds.

A man who was banned from the road when his dangerous driving caused the death of a back seat passenger has received an eight and a half year jail sentence.
Eric Wansboro (27) of Cherry Garth, Rivervalley, Swords, Co Dublin pleaded guilty to dangerous driving causing the death of Sinead Maguire (43) and serious bodily harm to Liam McDonagh at Fairview, north Dublin on May 29 2014.

Yes Equality says the fact that over 65,000 people have joined the supplementary electoral register in advance of the May 22nd referendum is 'phenomenal'.
Over the course of the register being open, this figure equates to some 2,000 new voters joining the register every day.

A Tipperary man has been jailed for 17 years for what a judge described as a 'campaign of rape and abuse' against his three daughters at their Dublin home.
Ms Justice Margaret Heneghan said the man (50) exploited his weak and defenceless children, and abused their trust in the 'most evil and abhorrent manner'.
