Property firm Daft says it has calculated the cost of a three-bed semi-detached house in Dublin according to proximity to rail services.
It found that commuters living on the Dublin coastline pay on average the most for a property.

Russian jets in Syria are carrying air-to-air missiles "for self defence" after the downing of one of their warplanes by Turkey.
Russia's air force said Su-24 jets - of the type shot down by Turkey last week - have flown with an air-to-air weapons system for the first time.

Lomu died earlier this month, following a heart attack related to a kidney issue he suffered from. The All Blacks legend was only 40 when he died.
The ceremony allowed the general public to say goodbye to a man who scored 37 tries for New Zealand. A funeral service will take place tomorrow in private.

A judge has been asked not to jail a man who had sex with a teenage girl after grooming her through a fake social media account.
Conor O'Keefe of Oakdale Close, Ballycullen in Dublin struck up a friendship with her by pretending to be a 13-year-old girl called 'Julie'.
Tagged.com describes itself as "the social network for meeting new people".
O'Keefe’s victim was just 15 when she joined the site during the summer of 2011.
She added 'Julie' as a friend and agreed to speak to her 22-year-old brother 'Adam', who convinced her to get a taxi to his place where they had sex in the early hours of July 30th 2011.
Dublin Bus, Luas and Irish Rail fare hikes come in from tomorrow
Price increases for Dublin Bus, Luas, Irish Rail and Bus Eireann customers come into effect tomorrow.
On Dublin Bus those adults paying cash will see a 15 cent increase for the 4-13 stop band to €2.70.
On the Luas one, seven and 30 day tickets will increase by up to four per cent.
