The acting Heritage Minister Heather Humphreys says she and her officials will carefully study a High Court judgement regarding Moore Street. Ms Humphreys said: "My priority up to this point has been to progress the important works to preserve the National Monument at numbers 14-17, which was the final headquarters of the 1916 leaders".

Adele announced as final headliner for this year's Glastonbury festival
Adele announced live on stage this evening during her gig in the O2 Arena in London that she will be headlining the Glastonbury festival later this year. She will be joining the already announced Muse and Coldplay, who will take to the Pyramid Stage on the Friday and Sunday nights, respectively, with Adele performing on the Saturday night.
Credit unions offer €5 billion housing fund to State
The Irish League of Credit Unions is willing to put up €5 billion to help the housing crisis. The fund could be kept off official borrowing figures and would build thousands of houses over the next six years, the Irish Times reports. Writing to the Department of Finance, the league stressed that it is anxious to employ its resources for "community-enhancing investments".
