Another humid day ahead with thundery downpours is being forecast for parts of the west coast.
Temperatures will remain high however with the east coast expected to enjoy highs of 27 degrees today - unusual for this time of the year.
Tonight the showers over the west will gradually die out and lowest temperatures will only fall to between 13 and 15 degrees.
And the good spell will be short-lived, from Sunday on it will be a little cooler.

Meanwhile as the temperatures rival those in the Mediterranean, the Irish Cancer Society is reminding people to protect their skin.
Rosemary Scott from the Irish Cancer Society says sun cream is not enough if you are contemplating a day in the sun.
