In some parts of the world, tinnitus isn't all you have to worry about when blaring music through your headphones.
Wyatt Schrefer, 18, from Colorado, had an unwelcome visitor sneak up behind him while he was listening to music - a 180kmh tornado!
The teen had been mowing the lawn unawares when the enormous twister came so close that it knocked the hat off his head.
Speaking to local TV station KRDO, he said:
"The hood of the tractor blew up and when I stood up to pull it back down, my hat flew off behind me, so I turned and saw it."
Thinking quickly, he dived for cover under the mower, and was lucky to receive only minor injuries.
The makers of those headphones might do well to recruit him as a spokesperson!
