Pro-Choice activists confronted Taoiseach Enda Kenny at a Fine Gael fundraiser in London on Friday night.

The two women, members of the Speaking of IMELDA group, approached the Taoiseach, spoke for a few moments about Irish women travelling to the United Kingdom for abortions, and then presented him a pair of women’s underwear with ‘Repeal the 8th, Enda’.

The Taoiseach did not speak to the women during the incident.

The women were then calmly removed by security shortly after passing the underwear to the Taoiseach.
