The Taoiseach has refused to say whether he was one of three people called back by the Fennelly Commission because of conflicting evidence.
Enda Kenny says he cannot comment on newspaper reports this morning, because it would be illegal to do so.
Today's Sunday Times reported that Mr Kenny was one of three people called back to give evidence for a second time by the commission.
Justice Nial Fennelly needed to call three witnesses because they had offered contradictory evidence about the resignation of Martin Callinan as Garda Commissioner.
But speaking at the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas this afternoon, the Taoiseach refused to confirm that he was called back:
The Taoiseach also refused to say what action he might now take to deal with the offence committed by one of the inquiry's witnesses.
Earlier this week, Nial Fennelly said his report on the resignation of Martin Callinan would be delayed until after Ian Bailey's ongoing court action against the State.
