A man and a woman have been charged with murdering Susan Whiting, a college student who had learning difficulties, in the UK.

Miss Whiting (20) from Walsall in the West Midlands, died from a head injury.

Steven Beard (34) of Rowland Avenue, Bentley, and Julie Beard (35) of Heather Close, Dudley Fields, will appear at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court on Saturday, police said.

Miss Whiting was reported missing on Monday.

She had spent the night at a friend's house, but was not there when her mother arrived to collect her.

Her body was discovered a day later at an address in Walsall.

She was studying hospitality and catering at Walsall Adult and Community College.
