The match itself lasted longer than anyone expected after fans lit flares around the ground.

The first half of the match lasted 50 minutes following delays caused by smoke and spectators at home watched the match through red mist.

Jonathan Afolabi scored the first goal for Bohs in the ninth minute, but goals from Mark Doyle and Tommy Lonergan and an own goal from Krystian Nowak secured a win for St Pat's.

St Patrick's Jamie Lennon was voted Player of the Match.
