Can you help make a real difference this Friday 2nd of May?

Special Olympics Ireland needs your support for their Collection Day, taking place in over 150 locations across the country this Friday.

This is their largest annual fundraising event, with hundreds of volunteers out in force shaking buckets in towns and cities across every county in Ireland, all to raise vital funds in support of Special Olympics Ireland’s life-changing sports programmes.

WHERE WILL FUNDS RAISED GO?

These programmes offer children and adults with an intellectual disability the opportunity to participate in sport locally, develop friendships, gain confidence, and feel included.

The funds raised help Special Olympics Ireland deliver year-round sporting opportunities and developmental programmes to thousands of athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Every donation made on Collection Day makes a real and lasting impact.

The money raised will go directly towards ensuring Special Olympics Ireland can continue its mission of inclusion and empowerment through sport.

With over 7000 athletes supported by thousands of coaches and volunteers, the organisation plays a vital role in the lives of individuals and families across the country.

HOW TO DONATE

Members of the public are encouraged to show their support by donating in person to bucket collectors on the day, via revolut or by visiting the Special Olympics website here.

This Special Olympics Collection Day, you can help people with intellectual disabilities in communities all over the country to embark on their own Special Olympics journey.
