Tipperary gardaí are appealing to the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of 18-year-old Sophie Burke.

Sophie was last seen leaving her house at Elm Park in Clonmel yesterday.

She is described as 5 feet in height, with black mid length hair - tied up in a ponytail - and brown eyes.

When last seen she was wearing a three-quarter length green coat.
