The Sinn Féin MEP Liadh Ní Riada is adamant that she will not run for a Dáil seat in next year's general election.
The Ireland South MEP feels she is more effective working in the European Parliament than as a Dáil deputy.
She says Sinn Féin headquarters are unlikely to make her run in the general election against her will:

"I can feel I'm much more effective as a parliamentarian here. I think we're at the frontline," she said.
"Certainly it is not on my radar at all, and you won't see me running for election at home, certainly not this time," she added.
