If you think you're too old to be afraid of things that go bump in the night, you might want to reconsider.
Police and victims have confirmed the existence of man who breaks into the homes of students, watches them sleep and tickling their feet.
Boston.com reports that there have been at least 10 sightings of the man in the area around Boston College. Though long believed to have been a legend, local police are taking the claims seriously. “This is no myth,” said Sergeant Michael O’Hara, a community service officer in the area.
Though no photos have been taken of the tickler, he is described as a five-foot-eight black male in dark clothing, sometimes wearing a ski mask. Various victims report him sneaking around houses, tickling feet and performing a sex act outside windows.
Police have urged students to exercise caution and keep their doors locked at night.
