Gardaí have seized a semi-automatic firearm in Dublin.

Investigators found the gun at a house in the Ballyfermot area last night after an intelligence-led operation targeting organised crime.

Two men, aged 47 and 52-years-old were arrested.

They are being held at Ballyfermot Garda Station.
