The search for missing fisherman Paddy Barry has been called off for the evening. A second dive by the Navy has now finished.
A spokesman for the Irish Coastguard said the search for the 55-year-old father-of-three would resume at first light.
Mr. Barry went to sea early yesterday morning for a day's lobster fishing.
He was not due back to shore until last night, but the alarm was raised just before lunchtime when his boat was discovered near the Saltee Islands.
The Naval Vessel the LE Orla has been coordinating the search effort at the scene assisted by lifeboat crews from Rosslare, Kilmore Quay and Fethard on Sea and a number of local fishing vessels, as well as the search and rescue helicopter from Waterford.
Spokesperson for the RNLI Captain Peter Ferguson spoke to Beat 102-103.
