Members of the Save 16 Moore Street have called on Heather Humphreys to resign after a High Court ruling yesterday ordered the Heritage Minister to halt any further works to a number of buildings on Dublin's Moore street.
The court action was taken by the group which sought to prevent the destruction of buildings on the street.
They have long argued that other buildings on the terrace are of historical significance.
Peter Cooney of the Save 16 Moore street committee says they will not take a step back now.
"Really, Minister Heather Humphreys should resign, along with her senor officials who dragged the state into court, and has cost it many millions," he said.
"That would be a good start to the celebrations - if we saw some resignations," he added.
