You may have noticed the weather tending towards wet and windy lately.
Unfortunately, this looks set to continue as Hurricane Clodagh makes its way across the Atlantic.
It's the third named storm this winter, and judging by Nasa satellite imagery, it looks like its packing a punch.
Met Eireann has issued a national orange weather alert, saying it expects westerly winds with a mean speed of 60 to 80 km/h with gusts of 100 to 130km/h.
Several western coastal counties are due for a soaking, as rainfall accumulations of 25-50 mm are likely over the weekend.
