Russia has been stripped of the Champions League final after its invasion of Ukraine.
UEFA this morning confirmed that the final will be moved from the Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg to the Stade de France in Paris.
The UEFA Executive Committee has also decided that Russian and Ukrainian clubs and national teams will play their home matches at neutral venues until further notice.
Football’s European governing body said it took the decision due to the “grave escalation of the security situation in Europe”.
It said it would “fully support multi-stakeholder efforts to ensure the provision of rescue for football players and their families in Ukraine who face dire human suffering, destruction and displacement”.
Both countries are due to play World Cup qualifiers in March and world body FIFA has said it is monitoring the situation.
