A man aged in his 30s has been killed in a road crash in Co Wexford.

A crashed car was found by a passing motorist at Wells in Gorey, shortly before midnight last night.

The man, who was the driver, was the only person in the car.

He was taken to Wexford General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
