Just six days after Ireland's newest political party launched, Ireland's newest satirical social media account is changing its name.

When the Lucinda Creighton-headed party Renua Ireland was unveiled last Friday, the body's staff had failed to register the name on Facebook. Some keen-eyed satirist hopped on the bandwagon and started immediately poking fun at the party and its policies with a number of posts.

But this afternoon, the Facebook account has announced that it is to "reboot and change [its] name," with the post suggesting that a complaint may have been filed with the administrators at Facebook.
