Serious Crime Branch police in the North have charged a man in connection with terrorist activities.

The 39-year-old was arrested on Friday as part of an ongoing investigation into dissident republican activity.

He has been charged with directing terrorism and membership of a proscribed organisation.

The man will appear at Belfast Magistrates Court tomorrow morning - the charges are to be reviewed by the PPS.
