The PSNI says a pipe bomb attack on police officers in Co Tyrone - was a deliberate attempt to take lives.
It happened in Strabane yesterday evening when a bomb was thrown at officers but failed to detonate.
Meanwhile, in Belfast the Alliance Party office on the Upper Newtonards Road was hit by two petrol bombs overnight.

It's been described as an attack on democracy by party members - who have been singled out by loyalists for their role in ending the flying of the Union flag over City Hall on non-designated days.
