Pro-Russia separatists have seized control of the regional state TV headquarters in the city of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine.
They're demanding that broadcasts by Russian state channels be switched back on, in place of Ukrainian-language services.
Local media report that around 400 people surrounded the building shouting "Russia!" and "Referendum".
Meanwhile, Western leaders are urging Russia to help free a team of military observers in Ukraine.
They were kidnapped by pro-Russian separatists on Friday - who accused them of being NATO spies.
At least seven of the observers were paraded in front of the media at a news conference earlier. One of the detainees, Colonel Axel Schneider said they're not being mistreated.
