A post mortem will take place today on the body of a boy (6), who was killed in a road crash in Kilkenny City yesterday evening.
The child died when he was struck by a car in Lintown Grove, Lintown Hall, a housing estate on the outskirts of the city.
The driver and sole occupant of the car - a woman in her 40s - was uninjured.
