There has been plenty debate, both on- and offline, after a café in north Dublin posted CCTV footage of a customer who had left a bad review, apparently enjoying food at the same establishment.

The owner of the White Moose café spoke to Newstalk Breakfast and explained how he would prefer if a customer complained at the time rather than posting a review "after the fact" that could potentially "damage the thus far untarnished reputation of our café".

The customer's comments were posted on popular travel website TripAdvisor - which offers a popularity ranking based on reviews from users.
