Detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in north Belfast during the early hours of this morning.
It happened in the Crumlin Road area shortly after midnight, when an 18-year-old man awoke to find a man armed with a knife in his bedroom.
The intruder threatened the teenager, throwing him from the bed and assaulting him before ransacking a number of rooms.
He then made off with a laptop and mobile phone.
The victim and two other people, a man and a woman, who were also in the property at the time were left shaken but otherwise uninjured.
The suspect is described as around 5’ 7” in height, heavy build with short shaved hair. He was wearing a light grey t-shirt, tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.
