Police in the North are investigating a petrol bomb attack in County Tyrone in the early hours of this morning.

It happened at around 4.45am in the Dublin Road area of Strabane.

It is understood that a number of petrol bombs had been thrown at a car parked in the driveway of a house in the area.

Damage was caused to the car and to the front of the house as a result.

No injuries have been reported.
