Today

Today will be rather cloudy with rain in the northwest pushing slowly southwards.

The rain will break up as it moves south and many places will see only light and patchy amounts.

A bright start in the south and southeast with a brighter afternoon in the north as that rain and cloud clear through later.

Highest temperatures 8 or 9 degrees in the north and between 11 and 13 degrees in the south.

Winds will be light variable at first becoming northeasterly as the day goes on and strengthening.

Tonight

Tonight a light northeast wind will become established and it will be mainly dry.

Temperatures will fall to between zero and plus 4 degrees as skies clear.

There will be a frost with icy patches possible on untreated surfaces.
