One person is dead and another injured following an incident at the head quarters of the National Security Agency at Fort Meade, Maryland.

A car tried to ram the gate, with officers opening fire on two men dressed as women, AP reports.

One of the men was killed in the exchange, while the other was hurt. A police officer was also hurt. There is as of yet no confirmation on how the man in the car died.

The incident is not believed to be a terrorist attack.
