North and South Korea have struck a deal after negotiations to end tensions, according to the Yonhap news agency.
The details are expected to be announced by South Korean delegates at 6pm Irish time.
Any agreement would illustrate a softened stance from both sides.
South Korea had said it would continue its propaganda broadcasts across the border unless North Korea apologised for planting land mines that wounded two soldiers.
