There have now been a total of 1,715 COVID-19 related deaths and  25,379 confirmed cases here.

This also includes the denotification of one case.

The Health Service Executive (HSE) says it is working to identify any contacts the patients may have had to provide them with information and advice to prevent further spread.

Meanwhile there have also been no new deaths due to the coronavirus in Northern Ireland, the Department of Health there has said.

Four new cases of the virus were diagnosed in the region on Sunday.

The North's Chief Medical Officer Dr Michael McBride has emphasised that the threat from COVID-19 'remains very real', after the British government lowered the alert level from four to three.

He said: "Significant risks remain and it is imperative that the hard won progress that has been made through the major sacrifices that have been made by all elements of society are not sacrificed through a false sense of security or complacency being allowed to take hold".

As a level four alert, COVID-19 is classed as an epidemic in general circulation with transmission high or rising exponentially.

But level three says the virus is in general circulation.

The Northern Ireland death toll now stands at 545, with 4,870 cases diagnosed.
