Two men charged in connection with the death of Shane Murphy have been refused bail at Limerick District Court.
Gardai said today Mr Murphy was stabbed "23 times" in a "frenzied attack" on April 30th at a house in the village of Pallasgreen, Co Limerick.
32-year old Ger Hogan, of Raheen Square, Ballinacurra Weston, and 20-year old Dylan Hayes, of The Crescent, Kilteragh, Dooradoyle, are both charged with assault causing serious harm to Mr Murphy and with producing a knife in the course of the assault.

The men are due in court again on May 19th.
