This week on Newstalk, we’ve teamed up with Tesco to help support their campaign for Children’s Health Foundation Temple Street.

We’ll hear extraordinary first-hand accounts from the children, and their families, who have overcome serious disease and injury with the support and care received at Temple Street.

Over the last six years Tesco, has provided over 330 pieces of vital medical equipment for the patients of Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street.

We hear about the great things Tesco is doing in partnership with Temple Street Hospital. Pat heard from Abbie Finnegan mother of one-year-old Rio, who has been receiving ongoing treatment in Temple Street after a very difficult birth.

As part of Tesco’s 'Little Helps for Temple Street’ campaign in supporting the tremendous work that Temple Street do for many children, Sean was joined by Lorraine Spillane, the Mother of Harry who has benefited greatly by Temple Street in undergoing treatment for his rare condition Tyrosinemia.

Jack Beattie is ten years old and he’s been going to Temple Street Hospital every three months since he was a few days old Jack and his mother Ruth spoke to Sinead this morning.

Today on the show Andrea was joined by Sharron, who is the mother of Amy. Amy was transferred to CHI at Temple Street in a critical condition in 2019, following a boating accident with her rowing club.
