Newstalk confirmed as Ireland's fastest growing national radio station

Newstalk now reaches a record 334,000 listeners daily, according to the latest JNLR results released today. This makes it Ireland's fastest growing national radio station in the last 12 months.

The latest results show increase for all our major shows.

Newstalk Breakfast, hosted by Ivan Yates and Chris Donoghue, have 137,000 listeners daily - an increase in 16,000 listeners year-on-year.

The Pat Kenny Show hosted by Pat Kenny has 114,000 listeners a day, which is an increase of 18,000 listeners book-on-book.

Moncrieff with Sean Moncrieff has seen an increase of 7,000 year-on-year, with 111,000 listeners daily.

The Right Hook presented by George Hook, has maintained a strong position with 121,000 listeners every day.

While Lunchtime, presented by Jonathan Healy, has 70,000 listeners daily - an increase of 8,000 year-on-year.

Commenting on the latest JNLR figures, Newstalk CEO Gerard Whelan said "Today's JNLR results has confirmed that Newstalk is Ireland's fastest growing national radio station and gives a clear indication that the Irish public are moving the dial to Newstalk".
