The new Newstalk weekday schedule has launched.

The changes will see Ciara Kelly - who presented Lunchtime Live for nearly three years - join Shane Coleman as co-anchor on Newstalk Breakfast, from 07:00 to 09:00.

Andrea Gilligan takes over Lunchtime Live, which you can tune into every weekday from 12:00 to 14:00.

Meanwhile, Kieran Cuddihy will host The Hard Shoulder from 16:00 to 19:00 as he trades early mornings for evening drivetime.

You can also tune in for shows such as The Pat Kenny Show and Moncrieff at the usual times.

Andrea Gilligan, the new presenter of Lunchtime Live

Ciara Kelly previously presented Lunchtime Live since October 2017, having presented Alive & Kicking and regularly contributed to programmes across the station’s schedule.

Andrea Gilligan has been a news anchor with Newstalk for five years and presented Breakfast Briefing and Between The Lines for the past two years.

Kieran Cuddihy first joined Newstalk as a reporter. He then went on to host On The Record, as part of Newstalk’s Sunday schedule, before joining Newstalk Breakfast in January 2019.
