Nearly 40 dogs and puppies found in 'inhumane conditions' at Dublin apartments

Gardaí have found 38 dogs, cats, puppies and other animals living in 'inhumane conditions' at two apartments in Citywest.

The animals were found living in cages and are now in the care of the DSPCA.

Cats, parrots, tarantulas, a snake, a scorpion and a millipede were also recovered.

They were rescued after a multi-agency operation involving the Dog Warden from South Dublin County Council and the DSPCA.

No arrests have been made and the Garda investigation is ongoing.
