A prisoner has been found dead in his cell at Mountjoy Prison in Dublin.
The Irish Prison Service says the man was discovered at 6:40am this morning.
He was aged in his late 30s.

A post mortem examination will be carried out later to determine the cause of death.
An independent investigation will also be carried out.
