Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a 55-year-old man was shot dead outside his home in County Meath last night.
Noel Duggan was sitting in a car at the Old Mill housing estate in Ratoath at around 8pm when he was shot a number of times, in an apparent gangland style attack.
A post mortem on his body will take place today at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

The funeral service for the family who tragically drowned in Donegal at the weekend will be held in Derry later today.
The five died after their car slipped on algae and went off the pier in Buncrana.
Sean McGrotty and his children - 12-year-old Mark and 8-year-old Evan - were in the car at the time, along with their grandmother Ruth Daniels and her daughter Jodi-Lee Daniels.
Mr McGrotty's four-month-old daughter was the only survivor.
