The Finance Minister Michael Noonan has been heckled and jeered at an event in Limerick.
Around 80 anti-water charges protesters gathered outside the Absolute Hotel in the city to voice their anger at the charges.
The Minister avoided the crowd by being driven down the wrong way of a one-way street and ushered into the hotel by gardaí.
