Mental Health Reform has expressed concern that no staff have yet been hired for Community Mental Health Teams – which the HSE have committed to.

The Government says the 414 doctors, psychologists and social workers will be in place by September – but Mental Health Reform says it’s concerned that the HSE overspend will prevent the appointments from taking place.

It’s issued an end of term postcard to TDs – reminding them of the Government’s own Vison for Change mental health policy.
