A new restaurant in Melbourne, Australia has devised a novel way of delivering their sandwiches.

Jafflechutes (jaffle is Aussie-talk for a toastie) simply chucks them out the window, parachute attached, onto customers below.

Customers pay in advance on Paypal, then queue up and wait for the drop at the designated time and place (marked with an 'x' of course!)

It's already proven so popular that a crowd funding campaign has been set up to expand the model to New York and Montréal.

Is this the end of pop-up restaurants and the beginning of a new era of floating food? Keep your eyes on the sky, just in case!
