Martin McGuinness says he will not be silenced, after being warned of a threat to kill him with a rocket launcher from dissident Republicans.
The Northern Ireland deputy First Minister says police alerted him to the Continuity IRA threat.
The Sinn Féin politician became aware of the dissident plot last night. He has condemned those behind it calling them cowards masking as Republicans.
Martin McGuinness says the paramilitaries are detached from reality and it will not get them a united Ireland.
He has described their actions as futile and says he will not be silenced or deterred by the threat.
Advised by Police tonight of a threat to my life by so called CIRA.I take all threats seriously but won't be deflected in my work for Peace.
