Both sides in the same-sex marriage referendum debate are making a final push today, as campaigning draws to a close.

A broadcast moratorium kicks in at 2pm this afternoon, ahead of the vote tomorrow.

The Yes campaign will push a three metre high Yes sign down South King Street in Dublin city centre today.

Brian Sheahan is the co-director of Yes Equality. He is calling on people to get out and vote.

While columnist with The Sunday Times, Kevin Myers, says he is not against gay marriage but he is voting No - because he feels it the wrong part of the Constitution is being affected.

"I am desperate for justice for gay people, but that doesn't have to be decided tomorrow," he says.

"We need to strip down the Constitution and remove elements, rather than constantly changing it".

He says Article 40 addresses the issue of the right to marry directly.

And the head of the Yes Equality campaign says she is 'quietly confident' that the referendum will be passed.

However, Grainne Healy is urging people to make sure they get out and vote when polls open tomorrow.

"Irish people see that their brothers and sisters have the opportunity to become fully equal citizens", she says.

She says turnout is key.
