The body of a man has been found in an apartment in the Lower Main Street area of Letterkenny, Co Donegal.

Gardaí are currently at the scene and the area has been cordoned off.

The state pathologist has been notified and the assistant state pathologist will carry out a post mortem later today.

Gardaí say they are investigating all circumstances but at present, they are not treating the death as suspicious.
